Accredited Community Health Worker Training Program

​

The Eastcentral PA AHEC has proudly been offering a 100-hour CHW training program to individuals for over 10 years. This program is designed to provide the core competencies needed for work in community-based, inpatient or other healthcare settings. Training satisfies educational requirement for Pennsylvania CHW Certification. 

​

Additional trainings may include Adult or Youth Mental Health First Aid, Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI), Mandated Reporter, CPR/First Aid/AED, and Virtual Health Conferences.
